MSU women's basketball players team van crashes in Mineral County
SUPERIOR, Mont. -- Four Montana State University-Northern women's basketball players were injured when their van crashed early Monday. Two people in the van were ejected in the crash shortly after 1 a.m. on a curve along Interstate 90.

Multi agency effort nets arrest

During a traffic stop on November 1, around midnight, a Spokane County Sheriff’s Office deputy learned that the driver was wanted on a $50,000 warrant. The driver fled the scene, and the deputy pursued the vehicle until it crossed into Idaho. At that point, the Idaho State Police and Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies took over the assumedpursuit.

When the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office received notification that the vehicle was headed their way, Shoshone deputies continued the pursuit as other agencies dropped back. The vehicle failed to stop in Shoshone County and entered Montana where it eluded Mineral County deputies.

A whilel later, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office received notification that the pick-up truck was spotted near Haugan westbound on Interstate 90. Deputies from Mineral County followed the vehicle until Shoshone County deputies were ready to intercept it....
