Hub-Hazel Lakes Trail (280) is a short connecting trail between Ward Creek and Eagle Peak. Several sections of steep trail make this a moderate to difficult climb. Diverse habitats, spring wildflowers and views of alpine lakes make this trail enjoyable.

Directions: From I-90 eastbound, take the Ward Creek Exit 26, go west 5.7 miles to the trailhead for trail 889. Hike 1.2 miles up that trail to trail 280. See Lolo West Forest Map.
